firefly124One of the songs on my "playlist" for the fic I'm working on has finally jumped out at me as having something to tell me about where the hell the central point of the story is. With any luck, this will help me find the ending, considering how little time there is left to get it finished, beta'ed, Brit-picked, and submitted. And yes, in fact, I have managed to write 15K before figuring out the main point. Is that unusual or something? *facepalm*
Must watch what I ask for.
Meanwhile, this week's been, er, fun. Weather and fibro kinda fun for one. Sky falling over H1N1 exposure at work fun. (Dude, the whole state is browned out as "widespread" on the CDC chart. Patsfan works in a casino. I work in a community college and in health care. As far as I'm concerned, I've been exposed for ages. The fact that someone came into the office one day and had the flu the next? Really doesn't rate hitting the panic button, imo. My coworkers' mileage clearly varies.) Oh, and car overheating fun. Radiator problem's dealt with. Got confirmation on the clutch slippage, so that's going to be a fun $800 or so in a couple of weeks.
