Actually, grats first. I am hugely grateful for the creative burst that allowed me to write a novella in about a month. I haven't been on that sort of Muse-ridden adrenaline-rushed ride in, well, about three years. It was awesome, and I need to stop whining about having to spend a few weeks recovering from it to get writing again. Said novella is not in the following wrap-up per se, however, as it's not available for public viewing yet. There will be squeeage and shameless self-promotion galore when it becomes so though. *g*

I can't seem to get my summer_of_giles fic moving. At all. I have 17 days to reverse that. Eep! If I can't get it moving by Tuesday (my next day off), I may have to stop trying to make the third Giles/Snape happen and try for something else. Maybe a continuation of "Strange Interview" (Giles/Hermione) or possibly *gasp* write something that isn't a crossover.

Meanwhile, in the interest of being somewhat productive, I've been catching up a bit on tagging for the fangirl_tour and sending out my reminder notices, which I completely forgot to do last week. And possibly the week before. Good thing actual posters are on top of their schedules. :-D

Also got the prompts for the bujold_fic fest organized and up for claiming. Never did manage to come up with any prompts of my own, but there are already far more than will get written as it is. I keep nudging for people to get artsy, but the Bujold fandoms seem to be very fic-heavy and art-light. Which is kind of amazing compared to HP. You'd think a fandom (or rather group of fandoms) lacking much in the way of visual canon would be even more into fanart than a fandom with movies as well as books, but if you did think that, you'd be wrong. But I'll keep nudging anyway. *g*

I think I'm calling that a good morning's work and hitting the hay. *g*

The awards have gone out for the 17th round of the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards, and I was thrilled to find out that Marked Men won for Best Book Crossover Pairing. Squee!

It's actually a little intimidating how much people seem to still like that one, given that I'm planning to write the third installment in that series for this year's summer_of_giles.

So, I was thinking as I posted my LMOM entry tonight, that I'd made Snape do an Anya. Which then led to wondering who'd written Snape *doing* Anya. I only found one Snape/Anya fic at Twisting The Hellmouth, but it was hysterical. As anybody/Anya pretty much will be. Now I want to see Anya/Luna, romantic or not, just to see whether the universe implodes if they're in the same place together. Anyway, on to the rec.
