Okay, not officially, and certainly not to go by the weather. We had a couple of nights of frost recently, and yesterday the temp never made it to 50F. But finals are over, so as far as I'm concerned, summer has begun!

On the downside, this means dealing with all kinds of crap that's been put off "until finals are done," most of which is icky stuff I'd gladly take any excuse to keep procrastinating.

Summer plans actually include a fair bit of "getting crap done for the fall semester before it starts." Fic-wise, my two big goals are a) write and post absolutely anything that is not TFTWSD and b) finish TFTWSD (currently at 152K *whimpers*) or at least get it to a point where it can start being beta-ed. Health-wise, well, I'd planned to get back to Curves yesterday, and I can already tell it's not going to happen today either. Maybe next week? I also want to get up to the range and do some archery. It's been way, way too long since I've done that. Swimming would be nice at some point, as would kayaking. Gods, I wonder if my kayak can even still be inflated at all. Best test that soon and either use it, figure out how to fix it, or toss it. And ... and ... and ...

Unfortunately, Infinitus is out for a number of reasons. I doubt I'll be traveling at all. The one tentative "trip" would be to the Cape for AAAI/ISMA, as I realized during a post-semester workshop yesterday that it might not be a bad idea to renew some of my certifications with them for resume purposes. Even that might be pushing it financially, depending on how a number of less-fun things than those mentioned above play out. (Am studiously ignoring the less-fun things as much as possible for at least the first few days of summer, though obviously I'm not succeeding in totally blocking them from consciousness.) Bright side? If I can break this &%$*-ing writer's block for all things not TFTWSD, maybe I'll be able to play at
