It took me awhile to find an icon for this season of DW that I wanted, because I wanted one that captured the two of them without being too intrinsically part of one ep. I chose this one because it sort of sums the two of them up. 11 looks like he's up to something, and Amy is ready to argue with him over it, which just seemed perfect to me. Mostly used for episode commentary posts and comments.

sylvanawood made this for me for my birthday last year. I don't use it often, but I love it, because it reflects both my love for dolphins and, by extension, my connection with Apollo. Also, taking a bit of ancient art and translating it into modern usage is sort of metaphoric for my brand of Paganism. And oddly, that's sparked some thinky-thoughts that may or may not eventually turn into meta. Hmm.

Much of Buffydom hates Dawn. I love her. Yes, she's whiny and annoying. She's a teenaged girl with a larger-than-life big sister. Who wouldn't be? But there's something about her and the mythology of how she came to be that I just really like, so when I did thedawn_all_along challenge a couple of years back, I decided it was high time to get some Dawn icons. This one stuck out, because it's just so her. I need to remember to use it more for posts/comments when "Duh" is really the most appropriate response. *g*

scratchingpost1 made this for summer_of_giles either 2007 or 2008, I think. I just really like the expression on his face and the background a lot. Mostly I tend to use this for Buffydom posts/comments that are Giles-centric, but as I've not made one in awhile, it's been gathering dust, alas.

I don't remember when I snagged this, but I've had it for ages. I just really love the look on his face as he's laughing here, enough to prefer it, with the glare and all, over other "Snape laughing" icons I've seen. Mostly gets used for posts/comments that involve LOLz of some sort, regardless of whether the topic is HP or even fannish at all.
