FB insanity
Jun. 5th, 2011 04:51 pmSo, on my fandom FB, which I can't believe has lasted as long as it has w/o being challenged over the name on it, I tend to auto-friend-back because a) I don't post RL stuff there and b) I tend to assume I know the person even if I don't recognize the name, because of the whole screen name vs real name thing.
Yeah, there are drawbacks to this.
Random dude was just trying to chat me up. Asked a few oddball questions that led into HP-dom, so I'm still thinking maybe we met at a con and I'm still just not matching the RL name with the screen name. Then asks what sort of spell I'd do on a man.
*blink*
My answer, "If he was randomly trying to chat me up for no reason, probably a Shrinking Spell."
Yeah, I should've come up with something better, but chat leads to off-the-cuffness.
*shakes head*
Figuring out how to defriend on there now.
