From the sublime to the ridiculous
Oct. 3rd, 2012 11:27 amFirst, the serious question: does anybody have any tips on convincing Open Office to comply with APA format? My two problems are getting a different header for the first page (so the entire paper doesn't say Running head: RUNNING HEAD but rather Running head: RUNNING HEAD on the title page and just RUNNING HEAD the rest of the way through) and convincing it that no, the header does not need to be an inch from the top of the page, just the body text.
Because I really, really don't want to buy MS Word. Really don't. I'll buy a paid version of OO if that's what it takes.
ETA: I found a solution! Someone on the OpenOffice.org site (which I couldn't reach earlier today but I can now) uploaded an APA formatted template! So far, it seems to meet the criteria I need.)
For the ridiculous, as I've just observed over on FB, I'm in the bizarre position of trying to choose between John and Barrowman. ( Cut for lengthy ridiculousness )
So, yeah. John, or Barrowman? So far, John's still standing.
Happy Wednesday!
