Silly meme

firefly124Just one of those silly year-end "first sentence of first entry for every month" memes whilst I procrastinate getting ready to go back to work. Um, when the first post is the "happy birthday to everyone for this month" post, I'm going with the second, because that'd just get boring really fast.
January: May 2009 build on the good things that came with 2008 and leave behind the suckage. (Debatable whether that was accomplished.)
February: No, not a religious post, a Battlestar Galactica one. (And this is what happens when one of your Gods' names gets used in a major sf show.)
March: As far as things that actually got posted, it was all birthday drabbles. (Need to try to make that happen again, actually.)
April: Following up on the earlier "happy birthday, request fic here" post, I did some thinking. (Always a dangerous thing.)
May: No, I'm not going anywhere. (Was in regard to Dreamwidth, which I wish was catching on better than it seems to be.)
June: Damn, but I wrote a lot this month! (Note to self: never jinx yourself like this again. Of course, this was the sort of jinx that went "Oh, you think that was a lot? Try this!" Twice. Second timeto apologize in a fandom I didn't think I'd ever jump into. Wait a sec, didn't I used to say that about HP? *facepalm*)
July: I got a shiny badge for leaving lotsa reviews in June. (And then proceeded to fall out of the competition entirely. Ah well.)
August: Got this email when I came in tonight: (Ah, the one where they said "no tuition reimbursements after all." Glad that changed.)
September: *climbs out from under rock* (Ah, the start of the semester. Good times. Sort of. Kind of? All right, maybe not so much.)
October: Round 4 of the![[info]](https://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
sshg_awards, aka Moste Potente Passions, has begun, and this one is highlighting DH fix-it-fics. (Damn, there were some seriously amazing fics, both nominees and winners.)
November: Actually, the timey-wimey headaches have a lot to do with the radio plays. (Speaking of bloody Torchwood.)
December: Work is dull, and my brain is fried, so I'm doing silly memes. (How fitting.)
