firefly124The first bit was an understandable (if stupid) mistake. Typing in an email address, I misrememebered it and went with suchandso@surname.com instead of suchandso@fullname.com . When I realized my error, I fired off an apology and "please disregard note." Of course, that one I sent to the right address. Which fact I didn't discover until after I'd re-sent the email to the right address.
Did you follow that? Me neither. Nor, I expect, will either the intended or accidental recipients.
I give up.
My initial inclination had been to send said email in an actual hand-written note in the first place, which I decided against due to the likelihood it would end up in an enormous slush pile. (Like the email won't? *eyeroll*) Guess I should've gone with that, because while there's also the issue of my handwriting, I doubt I could've fucked up a snail mail addy quite that badly. Now? Best I just say the hell with it.
Did I mention I've been editing and tinkering with that note for three months? Yeah. Seriously, just shoot me.
