Quite the night!

So,
rm wrote & produced this play, Dogboy & Justine. Tonight was the dress rehearsal, & as one of the Kickstarter backers, I got to go. This is a fortunate thing, as it was the only night out of the run that I could make it. I also got to bring a friend. This is also good, as I'm still pretty much a country mouse & might have chickened out had I been going alone.
The play was hysterical at times and poignant at others. If you're in the NYC area & have the opportunity to go this weekend, and think you'd enjoy a musical about a woman who loses her job & finds herself working as a dominatrix at Mistress Maybe's House of Sin, I highly recommend it.
Got to meet
rm briefly, which was cool. I am no less awkward meeting online friends in person for the 1st time now than I was the very 1st time, ironically also in NYC, back in '96 or so. (As those of you I've met at cons have no doubt observed, though that generally wears off eventually.) Was neat nonetheless.
Started to head back to the train station & then realized we hadn't actually eaten, so we stopped for Thai food, which was delicious but made us late. Hence the slightly wobbly posting from my phone on the midnight train to New Haven. But I'll go directly into a coma when I get home & didn't want to forget to post.
G'night, all.
