So I've been watching Heroes S1 on DVD, and I got to the last ep tonight. Which was great. Right up until the last five minutes when the disk froze! Argh!
Have wiped the disk down. Tried watching the commentary version in case that reads from a different area of the disc. (Doesn't seem so.) Got to see a bit more, but only halting bits. So here's my question:
Are we meant to think Sylar survived and got away? It sort of looked like his body was missing, but again with the halting frozenness.
And all I got from the very last bit was a grassy field and Hiro looking up with that grin of his. So he got away! Yay! I think he might actually be my favorite character. Is there anything more to that scene though? Like, some hint that he dropped himself into prehistoric times and meets a real dino this time?
Haven't decided yet whether to see S2. I've heard it's nowhere near as good, and this really does look like it would be hard to top.
Also, I'm a bit boggled at the fact that the big slash ship is Mylar. Because, dude, that has to be some seriously twisted darkfic!
Also finished watching S1 of Burn Notice with Patsfan and have started S2. That's a fun show. I know there's fic out there, 'cause I've seen it recced. Not going looking until we're caught up though. I wonder how many authors go with the voice-over narrative style though, and how that works in "print" versus audiovisual.
