Gratitude Project 09

I guess they're all catch-up posts at this point and will probably continue to be. LOL
Thursday: I'm grateful for classmates who understand that just because I run and hide during lunch doesn't mean I'm a snob. I'm also grateful for Rescue Remedy, because even with that bit of respite, the manic anxiety of the class as a whole just feeds my own anxieties (as I'm sure it does everyone else's), so anything that helps break that vicious cycle is a welcome thing indeed.
Friday: I'm grateful to have finally had a day off! I took a test drive up to the hospital where I start clinicals on Tuesday, found that it's closer than I'd thought (I'd thought 45-60 minutes. It's more like 30.), and discovered that the town it's in is delightfully artsy, poked around galleries and bookstores for the afternoon, and finished with a late lunch at a sidewalk cafe. Nice and relaxing.
Saturday: I'm grateful for the peace and quiet of third shift and the chance to get caught up on things like the lovely Pharmacology homework I'd completely forgotten was due. (For someone who spends as much time glued to a computer as I do, I'm spectacularly bad at online-only courses.)
Sunday: I'm grateful for the local flea market and the herb farm that sells amazingly inexpensive herbs and sundries in town. Very handy.
