firefly124Round 4 of the sshg_awards, aka Moste Potente Passions, has begun, and this one is highlighting DH fix-it-fics. The nom link is here. Dear Gods, how am I going to pick from such a flood of fics to nominate just a few?
So, even as I respond tosubvers' request, I'll make a similar one, because, dude, there's a lot that has been written and is still being written after more than two years. So if you've written anything SS/HG that in some way fixes DH and began posting on or after 7/21/07 and before 7/21/09, please create a post that lists them.
Note: I'm finding this harder than expected, as I look at some of my fics and wonder whether they really "fix" things per se. At least one fixes and then immediately un-fixes, and another actually makes things worse, though it fixes the canon death ... without ever explaining how/why. *facepalm* I'd not be surprised if more than one person were to scratch their head and say, "This is a DH fix-it?" is what I'm trying to say.
Numb, MA/NC-17, Summary: Nagini's bite carried some severe consequences, and Severus has a long, rocky road to recovery ahead of him. The Order steps in to help, feeling that they owe him that much, but the only one whose care Severus can stand is Hermione.
Hermione's Search, PG-13, Summary: Hermione Granger-Weasley has lost her family and is determined to find the ones responsible. If she can’t find the person or persons who poisoned them, she’ll settle for the one who helped her survive, even if she has no idea who that is. (Note: may not be SS/HG-ish enough, as even the epilogue is more like pre-SS/HG.)
Righting a Wrong, PG, Summary: It’s always tormented Hermione to remember what she didn’t do during the Final Battle.
And holy crap, my master list is in dire need of an update. I had to go digging to find the latest Exchange fic, which is the main one that fits the theme. Oops.
Lost Time, PG, Summary: Rose has her hands full keeping Hugo out of trouble. His latest stunt brought them face to face with someone believed long dead, someone who seems rather different than the man she’d pictured from Uncle Harry’s stories.

In other news, boy am I glad I'm up and online at this hour, as I just got the email telling us what room today's exam is in. *facepalm* Not the most organized semester ever.
