DW 5.01 - Eleventh Hour

Not even seven minutes in, and I'm begging for him to have his arse handed to him.
That much I figured wasn't exactly spoilery. All else, mostly rambly reactions, goes under the cut.
If this little girl doesn't hit him over the head with something soon, I'm going to reach into the monitor and shake her. Is she going to grow up to be Amy the companion? If so, I sincerely hope she stops taking his crap.
Fish fingers and custard? Is he pregnant or what?
He's got a point: she's not scared of the TARDIS crashing in her yard or him falling out of it, so there's definitely something about that wall. (I didn't quite get who she was praying to. Hate not having captions. Did she say Santa??)
Erm, he may not have been pregnant before, but wtf just zoomed into his abdomen?
Overshot that five minutes by just a bit, hmm? And oh shit, what's happened to that little girl? Also, what's with the coma patients calling for him?
Amy's a cop. Amy's not Amelia all grown up. (Damn.) And she's a cop. Who's too curious for her own good. I'm sensing a pattern here. Except she's not. She's a ... kiss-o-gram? Ooookay. And she is Amelia all grown up, and it's been 12 years. Cool!
The Raggedy Doctor. I love it. Also? Oh crap. They're going to incinerate the Earth!
Sonic screwdriver ploy? Great. Sending that poor woman on her scooter out of control? Not actually funny.
And, I'm sorry, I realize Torchwood is at least temporarily out of commission (or are they? when is this?) but why is UNIT not on this mega conference call he's hacked into along with NASA and everyone else?
"Did he just save the world from aliens and then bring all the aliens back again?" Well, yes, that's about par for the course.
Right, so it's the nurse who turns his back while the Doctor gets changed, but not Amy. I can tell this is going to get interesting. Also, how many ties does he need? I mean really!
Wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey ... erm, what year was it when he met Amelia Pond? And when the whole bit with Prisoner Zero and the hospital went down? What year is it when he's caught up to her two years later? I'm so confuuuuused!
I have a feeling that "tomorrow morning's stuff" is going to turn out to be rather important at some point. Like, she's supposed to be marrying Rory or something.

Intriguing montage preview. Weeping Angels, Cybermen, Daleks ... I mostly can't wait until he meets up with River Song. *g*
As usual, it'll probably take awhile to get used to having a new Doctor. But for the most part, that was a fun ep, so I'm looking forward to more.
