Very, very different from last year, and yet very much the same. The issues and fears haven't changed, but the emphasis has. There was also an element of, "You've been processing this for ten months. Now do something." This was underscored when I got home and tried to do some writing. Pulling teeth would be a mild way to describe it. Right. Stop processing. Jump left or jump right, but just do something.
It'd be nice if I could figure out WHAT, of course, and readings that keep ending with lovely cards like the freaking Ten of Swords don't exactly help. It's like a nursing exam, except instead of "all the answers are right, but you have to pick the best one" it's "all paths lead to misery, but get off your ass and pick one anyway." Would that my uncanny ability to pick the right answer more often than not, even when I'm not sure wtf I'm looking at, worked outside an exam setting. *facepalm*
Anyway, enough with the cryptic. More fun things included making plans for Panthea, which I hope to go to this time even if I'll have to leave early to make clinical that Monday, and the possible resurrection of the Philokhoria Puppet Show. We don't incorporate that much drama/theater into ritual because we're such a small group. When we do, it often boils down to selecting a thematically-kinda-related movie to watch after ritual. But apparently, a few years ago, the urge to incorporate that fairly traditional aspect of Hellenic worship collided with a large supply of construction paper and Sharpies. I wish I'd been there for that, and I hope we do try it for Philokhoria this year.
Damn, 9am already. Time to run to Curves, if I'm going to do it at all today. Which I did three times last week, and I'd like to keep that up. Off and running then.
